Michael W. Parsons, PhD, ABPP, is a clinical neuropsychologist in the Pappas Neuro-Oncology Center and Department of Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. His clinical and research activities focus on the cognitive and behavioral consequences of cancer, including brain tumors and non-central nervous system cancers. He is the author of numerous peer reviewed manuscripts and book chapters related to these issues and serves as the copresident of the neuro-oncology special interest group of the International Neuropsychological Society. Dr. Parsons is a diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology and the American Board of Professional Psychology. Michelle M. Braun, PhD, earned her Master of Science and PhD in clinical psychology with a minor in neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Dr. Braun has worked for 15 years as a clinical neuropsychologist in departments of neurology, neurosurgery, and psychiatry in hospitals and academia. She serves as an examiner for the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology, and is a previous board member of the board of directors of the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, where she chaired the Practice and Public Policy Committee. She is also a previous member of the board of directors of the Wisconsin Psychological Association.
