Dr Stirling Moorey is a Consultant Psychiatrist in CBT at the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and Visiting Senior Lecturer in Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience. He was formerly Professional Head of Psychotherapy for SlaM. He has trained in Cognitive Analytic Therapy and Schema Therapy and is also a Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy teacher. He has been training mental health professionals in CBT for 30 years, and regularly gives workshops on managing complexity, adversity and interpersonal process in CBT. His research interests are in the application of CBT to cancer and physical illness. Dr Anna Lavender is a Principal Clinical Psychologist at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She has nineteen years' experience in CBT treatment and supervision, and is also a qualified Schema Therapist and supervisor. She teaches training psychologists on interpersonal processes in therapy, and has worked extensively with individuals with personality disorders. She is joint UK lead on an international trial of the use of Group Schema Therapy with individual with Borderline Personality Disorder.
